Crucible of Gold by Naomi Novik is published in fine US bookstores tomorrow, March 6, 2012!
We are only a couple of weeks away from the US publication of Crucible of Gold, Book VII in the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik!
Naomi decided to do something fun and unique for this release—a book trailer! She hired a great graphic designer and video artist named Lim to create an early look at Crucible of Gold. So far everything is on track and we are being sent early looks at the trailer. Naomi thought it would be fun to post the Behind the Scenes aspect of creating the trailer.

To celebrate the forthcoming release of the new Temeraire novel, Crucible of Gold, Naomi has authorized the creation of a new book trailer!
The website will feature a Behind the Scenes look at the creation of the book trailer, this being the first post of several. If you look below, you will see the very beginning stages, along with commentary from Lim, the artist responsible for creating the book trailer. I particularly like the third image—the rendering of a dragon!
