I was browsing through this page and I notice the article on the Congreve Rocket. Has this actually been seen in the Temeraire universe, or is the placement here an assumption by the editor of this page, and if so, should it be marked as such or deleted? Almaron 01:12, 8 September 2010 (PDT)

According to Google Book search, there's a mention of using "trying Congreve's rockets for defense against aerial bombardment" dragons on p576 of the In His Majesty's Service omnibus, but I don't know which page of BPW that maps to. It's fairly early in the journey, a bit after Temeraire accidentally smacks one of the stone precipices on the way out of China and slides down; Laurence mentions the rockets to veer the conversation away from Granby's embarrassment about his family. --Wombat1138 01:28, 8 September 2010 (PDT)
