Biography

She was a daughter of Avraam Maden, an Istanbul banker. She herself was a business agent for a kadin (a Sultan's wife).

During Temeraire's stay in Istanbul she went into the Sultan's treasury and brought a golden sovereign as a proof that the money for the Turkish eggs was delivered.

She was in a relationship with Tharkay but could not marry him, because her father did not approve.
