Biography

Lung Tien Xian was the Celestial dragon who sired Lung Tien Qian (Temeraire's mother) as well as Lung Tien Chu (Lung Tien Lien's father). All of the currently living Celestial dragons are of this line. He is also known as "Grandfather" by the other Celestials and Imperials. His black scales have a acquired a reddish tint due to the scales going translucent. His eyes are milky blue, the pupil nearly hidden by the cataracts. He is accompanied by a guard of four Imperials.

Xian's own parents were both Imperial dragons. From time to time, a pair of Imperials will give birth to a Celestial.
