Biography[edit]
Lumière was one of the three young male dragons provided to Lung Tien Lien as "companions", shortly after her arrival in Paris in autumn 1806. He tried harder than the others to impress her, first by demonstrating his fire-breathing abilities and then by offering her a colorful branch of autumn leaves, but she rejected all three of them as prospective mates. She also ordered Lumière to remedy his "unbalanced amount of yang" by limiting his diet to fish and watercress with regular bowls of mint tea.
The three young males had remained in Paris because of limited supply logistics. Lien's military advice to Napoleon Bonaparte allowed them to advance to the eastern battlefront, where they captured heavy artillery from a fortress near Bayreuth.
His name means "light" in French.
