Biography

Lloyd was the Grounds-master at the Pen Y Fan Breeding Grounds. His duty was to make sure that the dragons stay in the area of Pen Y Fan, eat properly, and breed.

During Napleon's invasion Temeraire pressed Lloyd and his herdsmen into service in his makeshift regiment. Their task was to serve as the supply lines for the dragons. The dragons took cattle from farmers, left X signs on trees or on the ground to mark how many they took and Lloyd came after them to replace the cattle.

He did not forget about his duty even when the invasion ended and after the final battle brought the cattle to Temeraire in his pavilion near Dover.
