This is the second of the Aerial Corps coverts that Temeraire visits. Lily's formation is sent here when Mortiferus leaves.
"...fortunately the covert was a very large one, covering perhaps one hundred acres when including the cattle pastures, and there was no difficulty finding a comforably large clearing for Temeraire." (HMD 238)
Admiral Lenton is the commander-in-chief of the Chanel Division, which puts him in charge of the Dover covert.
