Biography[edit]
Collins was a new midwingman when he was chosen for Temeraire's crew. Laurence described him as having a good eye, but overeager. He, along with Dunne, was reprimanded by Laurence for discussing whores within Temeraire's hearing.
Collins was the first member of the crew killed during the Battle of Dover. He was shot by the crew of a Pecheur-Raye while attempting to drop bombs on one of the transports.
