Biography

A middleweight combat dragon, typically part of Excidium's formation. Prior to the Battle of Trafalgar, Auctoritas (Latin for 'authority') was detached and remained behind at the Dover covert, along with Crescendium and Temeraire, to protect the English Channel.

Until Temeraire arrived, Auctoritas helped Caelifera fight off a French Plein-Vite found spying on the Dover covert despite being ill.

Despite this, Auctoritas died of the dragon plague not long after Lily's formation left for Africa.

Auctoritas is Latin for "authority, power, command".
