Biography[edit]
He is a legendary wizard and dragon-"scientist". he seems to have the seldom human gift to get the respect of feral dragons so that they follow his orders. Forthing has been told stories about him and King Arthur in the orphanage. When Tharkay comes to Britain with Arkady and the other feral dragons, Jane Roland says that she would pay him his weight in gold for having talked 20 dragons out of trees like Merlin or St. Patrick in former times.
